Join us in this relaxed session to hear from a panel of veteran entrepreneurs who are navigating the world of business since leaving the Armed Forces. Hosted by BIC business adviser Anthony McDermott, the panel will discuss their journey to business and how they’ve overcome challenges along the way.

The North East BIC’s Veterans in Business Networking events offer a dynamic platform for veterans to connect, share insights, and learn from each other’s experiences.

This group is an invaluable resource for sharing best practices and innovative ideas, gaining insights into overcoming business challenges and networking with fellow veteran entrepreneurs. You’ll meet like-minded individuals and discover new ways to grow and thrive in the business community.

The team from the BIC will also advise on how to access specialised support and resources tailored to veterans.

Joining us for this event is fellow veteran Richard Haswell from Approved Mortgages Solutions, who’ll be sharing insights into the benefits they offer specifically for veterans.

We’ll also welcome a representative from the Armed Forces Covenant and the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), who’ll be on hand to talk about the benefits of signing up, what support is available and how your organisation can achieve Gold status – the highest recognition for forces-friendly employers.
