- **Event Description**: It's Pride month and we're here with the Nerdy Quiz for June! This month we're back upstairs at the wonderful D20 gaming bar in Sunderland (formerly /AFK) at the slightly earlier time of 3pm. It's Sunderland Pride on the 27th and so many of us will be marching earlier in the day and taking part in the Pride celebrations before we get our thinking caps on for the quiz!

Naturally this month's quiz theme is Queer Media, where we'll be focusing on LGBT+ elements of TV shows, movies, games, and literature. We struggled to decide who could possibly represent us this month, pioneers and cultural icons like Lynn Conway, Marsha P Johnson, and Alan Turing? 
Well in the end we couldn't agree or truly do these legends justice, so instead to celebrate the incredible new Masters of the Universe movie, we're getting meme-Prince Adam. 

Each of our quizzes is £2 entry per person and includes a nerdy raffle that you can buy tickets for at an additional cost. All money raised goes towards are chosen local charity of the month which for June is Be: Trans https://be-north.org.uk/ who do amazing work for trans and questioning individuals in the North East. 

Throughout the quiz there'll be food available to order and there's 2 for 1 cocktails throughout, bring your nerdy knowledge and your friends and let's have some fun, it's gonna be one hell of a quiz.
