Across September-October 2026, look out for a programme of environmental activities using Silksworth Lakes as its focal point. Participants are invited to engage creatively with the area through print-making, zine-making, and eco-poetry. Wear sturdy boots/footwear.  This event is supported by Connecting Through Nature, a three-year project based in Sunderland aiming to bring communities together to benefit both nature and their own wellbeing, creating a greener, healthier and more sustainable city for all.
