Poets’ Corner .005: a King Ink x Sunderland Lit & Phil collaboration

In July, we’ll be exploring how we feel about the poetry of Carol Ann Duffy.

Duffy finds poetry in ordinary lives, using “simple words in complicated ways”. From ‘The World's Wife’ to her work as the first female Poet Laureate, and at all points in between, her work has captured everyday human experiences for over fifty years.

So if you have a favourite Duffy poem, or if you’d just like to find out more about her poetry, please join us on Thursday 24th July at @thebridgehotelvaults in Sunderland (opposite @poprecs) from 7pm. The event is free and we’d love to see you there!
