Bridge to Hope aims to reduce stigma, promote wellbeing, strengthen community connections, and raise awareness of the support available across Sunderland. Whether you're in recovery, supporting a loved one, working within local services, or simply want to be part of a positive community event, everyone is welcome.

11:00 Arrive and intro speech
11:15 Chance to warm up
11:30 2K colour run (1K is optional)
12:00 Bands at the band stand
13:30 - Speech (special guest)
14:00 – Fire Brigade attendance
16:00 - Event close

Please note we would encourage the use of public transport to reduce demand on parking spaces and build up of traffic. In the unlikely event we need to cancel this event at short notice due to adverse weather etc we will update this page before or up until the date of the event. We would expect any children participating in the colour run to be accompanied by an adult. All those participating in the event do so at their own risk and we ask that you are physically fit enough to do so. Photo's will be taken at the event and permission forms will be circulated. If you do not wish to be part of official photos (taken by us) please let our team know. We are unable to stop members of the pubic taking photos/videos. Event access is free but we will have food vendors on site, some of which will be charging so consider if you wish to bring your own food or cash/card for food vendors. We would encourage attendees to bring plenty of water and sun cream, as well as any emergency medication/supplies.
