Today’s kids are growing up in a world filled with unique challenges. From anxiety and depression to social pressures, technology, and emotional struggles, many parents are asking the same questions: How do I know if my child is struggling? How can I help? Am I doing enough?

At Bright City Church, we believe parents deserve encouragement, support, and practical resources to help their kids thrive. That's why we're launching Parenting Together—a space for parents to learn from trusted voices, connect with one another, and grow in confidence as they navigate the challenges of raising kids today with wisdom, confidence, and hope.

For our first workshop, we're focusing on Kids & Mental Health.

We'll explore how to recognize when our kids may be struggling, build healthy connections before a crisis, and respond with wisdom, compassion, and hope when challenges arise.

🎤 MEET OUR FEATURED SPEAKER

We're excited to welcome Dr. Paige Shively, PsyD, LPCC-S, who will lead our main sessions and help guide interactive conversations throughout the morning.

Dr. Shively is a wife, mother of two, and experienced mental health professional who currently serves as the clinical lead at Foundations Family Counseling in Dublin, Ohio. She also teaches psychology at Liberty University and is passionate about helping individuals and families grow through sound psychological principles and a biblical worldview.
