Learn to Shoot - Rifle

Free - Introduction to rifle shooting using .22 calibers for youth and adults. Co-sponsored by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. This event is for shooters or non-shooters who are interested or curious. There is no cost for the event, .22 ammo and targets will be supplied. Rifles will be supplied. Safety equipment for eye and hearing protection will be provided; you are welcome to bring your own safety glasses or ear protection. The event will consist of a classroom-style safety course, intro to rifle basic operations and instruction on how a .22 caliber rifle is shot, followed by actually shooting the .22 rifles on our ranges. The course is approximately 3 hours of class time (9AM - 12PM) and additional 3 hours (12:30PM - 3:30PM) of range time.
Light lunch and snacks provided
There’s only 1 class on this date. Saturday May 2nd, 2026. This class is held twice a year.
