Learn to Shoot - Pistol

Free - Introduction to pistol shooting using .22 calibers for youth and adults. Sponsored by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. This event is for shooters or non-shooters who are interested or curious. There is no cost for the event, .22 ammo and targets will be supplied. Pistols will be supplied. Safety equipment for eye and hearing protection will be provided; you are welcome to bring your own safety glasses or ear protection. The event will consist of a classroom-style safety course, intro to pistol basic operations and instruction on how a .22 caliber pistol is shot, followed by actually shooting the .22 pistol on our range. The course is approximately 3 hours of class time (9AM - 12PM) and additional 3 hours (12:30PM - 3:30PM) of range time. This class is held Saturday April 11th, 2026
Light lunch provided.
