Beavers in the Watershed System: Addressing the Challenges and Reaping the Benefits
Please join us as we host Dr. Denise Burchsted as she shares the roles beavers play in our watersheds. Beavers provide benefits for humans, including the removal of nutrients, habitat for desired fish and wildlife species, and protection from drought. This talk will also explore the balance between nuisance flooding by beavers versus the creation of increased flood resilience.
