Dog sledding without snow is known as 'dryland mushing,' a sport that’s rapidly gaining popularity, especially with our northern winters becoming milder in recent years. Much like traditional dog sledding on snow, dryland mushing involves working with dogs to pull a sled or other equipment. The primary difference is that instead of snow, dryland mushers use alternative rigs and vehicles.
Come meet the pack, learn all about sled dog training, and even get up close with some of the rescue’s lovable huskies! It’s a unique chance to experience the thrill of dog sledding and hear about how Free Spirit Siberian Rescue is helping these adventurous pups find their forever homes.
