Her work is fueled by the environment around. The juxtaposition between manmade and nature is a constant and she expresses what is
seemingly chaotic in our natural environment and our human nature’s need to find order through
a method of pure intuition. You will find that there are two lines of work that show up in her
repertoire. One, her abstract expressionist work and the other, abstracted landscapes which are
inspired through her travels and memories of place.
Connie received a M. Arch and had an architectural practice prior to becoming a full-time artist.
She has had group shows in the Midwest and the East Coast and won several awards. She
currently works and lives in Charleston SC.
