This is a 2-day format, but you have to make the CUT to play on Championship Sunday. Each division will be limited to 9 teams (except Men’s 3.5, Men’s 4.0 and Women’s 3.5 will have 18 teams each, split into two Pools of 9). Each Pool of 9 teams will play every team in their Pool, with the top 5 teams advancing to a Double Elimination Bracket on Championship Sunday!

Tournament Details:
Scoring Format: Standard Scoring

Round Robin games will be to 11 win by 2.

Bracket game: Winner’s Bracket “best of 3” games to 11 by 2.

Loser’s Bracket one Game to 15 by 2.

Championship Game - “best of 3” games to 11 by 2. If the team from the Winner’s Bracket loses the “best of 3”, then there will be one game to 15 by 2 to determine the champion.

Minimum Games: Round Robin - Each team will be scheduled for 8 games.

Score Tracking: Pickleball Charleston will record All game scores in DUPR.

Bracket Formation:
Initial Setup: Teams will first compete in a Round Robin on Saturday and the top 5 teams will advance to Championship Sunday.

Pool Standings: The Pool Standings will use the following criteria - 1. Games Won 2. Head to Head (if there are 3 or more teams tied H2H isn’t a factor) 3. Point % Won.

Separate Brackets: Each bracket will have its own winners and medalists.

Bracket Format -
Bracket Formation: Teams will be seeded based on how they finished in Pool Play on Saturday. In 5 Team brackets the top team from Pool Play will receive a bye in the first round. In 10 Team brackets the top 4 teams (Top 2 from each).

Double Elimination: If you lose in the winner’s bracket, you will be placed in the backdraw with the ability to play your way back into the Championship.

Non-Open Divisions (Per Team) - 1st $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $150
OPEN Divisions (Per Team) - 1st $1000, 2nd $500, 3rd $300
