We’ll be at Cold Spring Campground inside the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur.
You’ll be responsible for your own costs including camping fees, food, supplies. Some people including me may have an additional tent or other supplies available to share. We may have a group potluck meal on Friday and Saturday evening for those who want to participate. We’ll have games and can organize some hiking or other activities.
People are also welcome to join us for a day even if they aren’t planning to camp.
This is a family friendly event. There will be children.

There’s a large lake in the park, a nature center, lots of hiking trails, creeks, swimming areas if it’s not too cold. The campground has tent sites. There’s campground by the lake that has spots for RV’s. There are hotels close if people prefer.
The park boasts natural springs, creeks, trails, and wildlife. Each site can have up to 2 vehicles and 2 tents.
I’m planning to arrive Thursday, October 23rd. I reserved site 49.
