Spring Welsh Weekender with Katie Cobalt & Mike Sonder

We are ECSTATIC to announce our Spring Welsh Weekender 2026 - a weekend of inspiring teaching and dancing with the incredible Katie Cobalt & Mike Sonder.

When they’re not throwing down HARD at international competitions, Katie & Mike are all about creating supportive, inclusive spaces for folks to express themselves in their dancing and grow their cultural understanding of jazz. You loved them last time and we can't wait to welcome their energy back to Cardiff next Spring

Perfect for dancers who want to kick their Lindy up a notch, this is a great opportunity to learn from this experienced dancing duo who love to share their passion for the history of jazz.

PLUS there'll be great live music at our Saturday Night Dance (Live Band TBC) and a culture talk on Queer Jazz History on Sunday morning. All in the beautiful, Dinas Powys Parish Hall with its half sprung floor, just 20 minutes from the centre of the Welsh Capital.
