A San Francisco based international teacher, and featured online teacher on Om Stars, Grokker, My Yoga Works, and Yoga Vibes. Laura sought out yoga to help combat serious health problems due to a decade of major stress and insomnia. She was drawn to yoga because it reminded her of the similar movement mediation she found when she use to dance, but unlike dance. Laura’s creative, well-rounded classes are smartly sequenced with a smooth, rhythmic flow. She is a two-time cover model and regular contributor for Yoga Journal Magazine and has presented at festivals such as the Yoga Journal Conference, The Bali Spirit Festival, Yoga Festival Italy and Wanderlust 108. Heart Hip and Core Flow (Master Class/Workshop)
Workshop Description: Our current way of living tends to foster rounding of the shoulders, slouching of the torso and tight hips do to sitting at a desk or even activities like riding a bike, etc. During this all-levels well balanced workshop (or master class), we’ll gradually flow into deeper and deeper shoulder and hip openers, backbends and core work. We will round out the practice by lengthening the hamstrings and working on and balancing postures. You are sure to leave the class feeling very open and strong from head to toe, and skin to bone!

Demystifying Arm Balances
Workshop Description: In this workshop style vinyasa flow class, you will be given step-by-step instructions and specific techniques to safely, and successfully, "take off" in the following arm balances. Each pose will be broken down into three stages, making the class accessible for all levels. We will explore Vasisthasana Variations (Side Plank Pose) Bakasana (Crane Pose), Parsva Bakasana (Side Crane), Astavakrasana (Eight-Angle Pose) and Visvamitrasana (Visvamitra’s Pose). You'll also receive a handout that visually breakdowns of each pose so you can continue to practice the progression of these arm balances at home.
