About Dave Koz
Dave Koz is a GRAMMY®-nominated saxophonist and global jazz ambassador whose career spans over three decades. Born in Los Angeles, he launched his music journey after graduating from UCLA, touring with Bobby Caldwell and Richard Marx before signing with Capitol Records in 1987. Since then, Koz has released over 20 chart-topping albums, including Lucky Man, The Dance, Saxophonic, and Hello Tomorrow, earning multiple Gold records and Grammy nominations.

A dynamic performer, he’s headlined prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and The Hollywood Bowl, where he is a regular. Koz is also the creator of the long-running Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour and the sold-out At Sea cruise series, recently expanding with the luxury SOMMA cruise brand.

Koz is a humanitarian and longtime global ambassador for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, raising over $2 million through fan support. In 2023, he was honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and continues to connect with fans through national radio shows and collaborations with legends like Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, and Burt Bacharach. In 2024, he released Dave Koz Does Disney and will launch his 27th Annual Christmas Tour this November.
