This is a FREE tire amnesty and recycling event, but we would sincerely appreciate any non-perishable food and toiletry donations.
At this event, participants can responsibly dispose of or recycle the following items:
• Tires (must show ID).
• New or gently used clothing and shoes.
• Electronics (TVs 42 inches or less, No old tube TVs).
• CFL bulbs.
• Batteries.
• Plastic bottles and jugs.
• Eyeglasses and hearing aids.
• Plastic bags.
• Glass containers.
• Cardboard, paper & magazines.
•Tires, 22 inches or less - no rims.
•Household hazardous waste. This includes home cleaning products, automotive products, indoor pesticides, and paint. Liquid limit is 5 gallons. Must show ID.
•Document shredding on-site. Protect against identity theft and shred your personal documents. If it becomes extremely busy, guests will be limited to three grocery bags' worth of documents.
•The Lions Club will be available to collect hearing aids, eyeglasses, and sell brooms.
•US Flags will be accepted to be respectfully decommissioned by local Boy Scouts.
•Gently used plant pots will be accepted by the Suffolk Master Gardeners.
