It’s time to dust off the eyeliner, tease your hair, and crown yourself royalty. Myspace Adult Prom: Scene Queens & Prom Kings is your officially sanctioned redo of prom, with no rules and no chaperones.
Downstairs at The Center transforms the Taylor Ballroom into a Myspace-era dreamscape, complete with throwback prom décor, photo booths, and profile-pic-worthy backdrops. Live music by Pop Topic will keep the dance floor alive with emo and pop-punk favorites that fueled countless AIM statuses and dramatic Myspace posts.
Come as you are... or as your most dramatic 2006 self. Scene kids, emo elders, glitter lovers, slow-dance romantics, and unapologetic wallflowers are all welcome. Dress however prom meant to you: thrifted tux, ripped fishnets, tiara and Converse, or full pop-punk fantasy. This night is about joy, nostalgia, and taking up space exactly as you are.
Food and a cash bar will be available, because even prom royalty needs snacks.
