We will be carpooling any attendees from our group to help save parking space at Lake Whatcom Park. Meet in the usual Spot at the Lakeway Fred Myers by the discount tire at 9:25AM, we aim to leave at 9:30am. If you can help carpool, let us know!!
Come celebrate Shifting Gears' Wild Women's Week and mutual love for the outdoors with us at Sisterhood of the Trail for a women's hike at Chantrelle Trail on March 1st at 10 AM! 😄
👉We will gather at Lake Whatcom Park in Parking Lot 2 near where Chantrelle Trail starts at 10 AM. Look for a circle of ladies waiting by the trail! We will only be heading up to the first lookout, Chantrelle Lookout (about 2.4 miles with about 1,000 ft elevation gain), making the trip about 5 miles out & back. Bring your hiking shoes, water, and a snack! Make sure to dress for the weather. Parking is free, but limited, so please carpool if possible! Come get a passport stamp while hiking on a great local trails system.
