Clay Studio 1242 is taking the show on the road for a fun and creative event where you can make your very own hand-built stein right at the brewery! We can’t think of a better way to get into the Oktoberfest spirit than by sipping a brew and making your very own stein! Our studio will provide all the materials you need to create a unique and fully customizable stein to enjoy all your beverages out of! You will start with slabs of clay, add your personalized decoration to it, and pick a glaze color for your creation to be fired in. The piece you make will be 100% functional, dishwasher and food safe. This vessel will comfortably hold a cool 16oz of your favorite beverage (and if it’s beer, there will be head room!) Whether you're a beginner or an experienced potter, our instructors will guide you through the process. This in-person event is a great way to unleash your creativity and make something special to enjoy your favorite beverages in. We will bring loads of texture rollers, stamps, cookie cutters and molds to really give it a personal touch, but don’t let that limit your vision! Things to bring - items to make textures, cookie cutters, circuit stencils (small), and loads of creativity! We will also be bringing an Ahnapee custom stamp made for this event so you can attach it to your stein at the end if you’d like. Things to know: 1 beverage will be included in your ticket purchase.
