The Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling present:

3rd Annual “Taking Steps for Addiction Recovery” 5K Run/Walk

Registration: Begins April 1, 2025

Free T-shirt with registration! T-shirts are not included with registrations after 9/5/2025 but may be available.

This is a fun event for the entire family!

When: Saturday September 27, 2025

Where: Brown County WI Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve

Don't forget that running/walking is better with friends! So don't forget to invite your friends to the 3rd Annual “Taking Steps for Addiction Recovery” 5K Run/Walk.

Bring your dog to join the fun! ( Dogs are welcome for this event. Dogs are not normally allowed in this portion of Barkhausen, normally only South of Lineville Road. All dogs must be leashed and any waste picked up.)

Registration fee:

Individual $30 - Family(2 Adults + 2 Children) $70 - Youth (up to 18 years Old) $15

• Pre-race registration packet pickup will be 8am -11am, Friday, September 26th at the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling office, 1585 Allouez Ave, Green Bay, Wisconsin 54311. You may also pick up the day of the race at Barkhausen.

9:00 AM – Race Day Registration Opens

10:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Start

11:30 AM – Awards Ceremony

Optional: You can download a pledge form from the event page on our website. All registrants who collect donations totaling over $75 will be placed in a drawing for a special gift.

Recovery Sponsorship $800

• Be a community leader and Recovery Sponsor to support those in recovery and bring awareness to those affected by gambling disorders. As a Recovery Sponsor you are included in all promotional media including print, name printed predominantly on the run/walk shirts and in social media, and you are welcome to participate in radio interview(s) promoting the event. Also included in your sponsorship you may have up to 6 registrants as a team.

Hope Sponsorship $400

• Hope for those in recovery and bring awareness to those affected by gambling disorders. As a Hope Sponsor you are included in all promotional media including print, run/walk shirts, and social media. Also included in your sponsorship you may have up to 3 registrants as a team.

Support Sponsorship $200

• Be a Supporter and help those in recovery and bring awareness to those affected by gambling disorders. As a Support Sponsor you are included in all promotional media including print, run/walk shirts, and social media.
