Friends of the Duru family — as you all know, recently, Nico was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of pediatric cancer. He’s now bravely fighting through treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Omer had already been training for the St. Jude Marathon, but now, his run carries even more meaning — every mile is for Nico, for his family, and for hope.

We are asking for all their friends and former co-workers here in Stuttgart to come together for a Shadow Walk/Run in their honor. Let’s surround the Duru family with love and encouragement — even from thousands of miles away.

? **Starts at 3:00 PM**

We’ll walk or run four laps — one for each Duru family member— and livestream the event so they can join us virtually. There will also be a chance for runners to video chat with the family and send them words of encouragement.

We’ll also be collecting items for a 'Box of Love' to send to them afterward — little reminders of how much this community cares.

Come walk, run, or simply cheer. Let’s lift up the Duru family with our presence, our prayers, and our love.
