Anschließend werden die Platten von Hand eingefärbt und ohne Druckpresse auf Papier übertragen. Der Kurs vermittelt Grundlagen des Holzschnitts, den sicheren Umgang mit der Kettensäge sowie experimentelle Techniken des manuellen Druckens. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich; Neugier auf großformatiges Arbeiten und praktische Gestaltung stehen im Mittelpunkt.Mitbringen: Arbeitskleidung zum Drucken, Schutzkleidung (Handschuhe, Schutzbrille, Hose), Werkzeug Holzschnitt, HolzhammerKünstlerhaus Stuttgart 4. OG-------In this workshop, participants create large-scale woodcuts using a chainsaw as an artistic tool. Images are carved directly into wood, resulting in expressive printing blocks of substantial size. The blocks are then inked by hand and printed onto paper without the use of a press. The workshop introduces the fundamentals of woodcut printmaking, safe chainsaw handling, and experimental hand-printing techniques.
