Medicine Wheel Ride: August 3, 2025

We begin our day at Bear Butte State Park, a sacred site, with prayer, reflection, and a short morning program to ground us in purpose and unity.

At 10 AM, kickstands go up as we ride together through the breathtaking Vanocker Canyon, arriving at Outlaw Square in Deadwood.

There, we’ll continue with lunch, a silent auction, and a powerful community program featuring Stella Standing Bear, with additional Indigenous performers to be announced.

This is more than just a ride, it is a space for healing, a time to honor our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR), and a moment to stand together against violence in all forms.

We ride to celebrate our culture, our traditions, and the strength that lives in Indigenous people everywhere. This gathering is a reminder of our resilience, our power, and our deep connection to one another.

All are welcome to join us for this meaningful day of prayer, community, and cultural celebration.

Please note: Out of respect for the sacredness of Bear Butte, no drugs or alcohol are permitted at the site.

All ticket levels include a full day of programming, a community meal, and entrance into a powerful event that honors MMIR and celebrates Indigenous culture. Rider fees also help cover ride logistics and safety coordination. Your registration directly supports our important work.

Stella Standingbear is a powerful voice in Indigenous music, blending hip-hop, R&B, and storytelling to speak on identity, healing, and justice. An Oglala Lakota artist from Pine Ridge, she’s known for her breakout hit “Home Runs” and her historic wins at the Indigenous Hip-Hop Awards. Her music uplifts and empowers, especially around the MMIW crisis.
