If you are feeling stuck or that life has grown too busy, treat yourself to one hour of yin yoga. Take care of you. Come back home to yourself. This can be the perfect marriage to your intense workout - or the “yin” to your yang, so to speak!
Experience the art of stillness as you delve into postures that stimulate your nervous system and release deep seated tensions, promoting holistic wellness. Yield to the pull of gravity, as you gently stretch, enhancing flexibility and circulation.
Discover the science behind Yin Yoga - it's not a workout, but a way of life. It aids in reducing stress, increasing mindfulness and boosting your overall vitality.
Every Thursday in July and September from 6-7pm.
Don't wait! Secure your spot today and step into a world of tranquility.
Why I Teach It:
Yin is a quiet practice that creates space in the connective tissue in the body, and a beautiful way to stimulate hyaluronic acid in those tissues. Hyaluronic acid is water phyllic, meaning it pulls water and makes your joints and tissues more juicy. It's also a practice to become the witness to the mind fluctuations.
Benefits of yin yoga include:
1. Lengthens connective tissue
2. Increases flexibility
3. Boosts your circulation
4. Reduces stress levels/activates your parasympathetic nervous system, which calms your body and slows your heart rate
What will happen during the event?
Yin yoga poses work to heal your body and by extension your mind and soul. Over time, you cultivate your insight and wisdom, increase mindfulness and the ability to be present in the moment. Soon you will integrate this off the mat and into your life!
