Step into the wild through the eyes of an expert.
Join John Nelson, President of Audubon of Martin County, professional wildlife photographer, and creator of The Audubon Moment, for a fascinating look at the art, patience, and adventure behind capturing extraordinary moments in nature.
John is a Florida Master Naturalist, educator, and conservation advocate whose work has helped thousands of people better understand birds and wildlife. His popular Audubon Moment radio segments teach listeners how to identify and appreciate bird species across Florida, and his environmental documentary film premiered to a sold-out audience on the Treasure Coast.
Through stunning images and firsthand stories, John will share what it takes to photograph wildlife in its natural environment—from rare bird encounters to the split-second timing required to capture unforgettable scenes.
Whether you're a photography enthusiast, nature lover, or simply curious about the world beyond the lens, this engaging presentation offers a deeper appreciation for the beauty and complexity of wildlife photography.
