This teacher training is a comprehensive experiential immersion designed to give the current teacher or serious student and in depth guide through the techniques and practices of chair yoga. You do not need to be an instructor to participate. This training is appropriate for recreation therapists, music therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers or, any professional working with clients seated in a chair and anyone who wants to simply learn for their own enjoyment. Sessions will include: Chair yoga practice, practice teaching, lecture, sequencing for special conditions and populations, discussion, therapeutic techniques and time for questions and answers.

Learn the art of teaching chair yoga
Learn how to work with different injuries, age groups and people with disabilities
Explore the use of the chair for advancing your asanas
Explore the physical, mental and emotional aspects of chair yoga
Create practice sequences and working with sequencing templates
Practice Teaching -learn how to support poses for appropriate levels of stretch response for individual practitioners

1 month prior to first day of training 50% refund, 50% Studio Credit
2 weeks prior to training no refund, no credit, space may be transferred to another client.
