Stroud Brewery has always been big on good vibes, good beer, and giving local talent a stage to shine on. In 2026, we’re taking things up a notch with Budding Artists - a new initiative dedicated to grassroots musicians, boundary-pushers, bold experimenters, and late-night dreamers who keep our scene alive and buzzing.
Named with a wink to our beloved Budding beer, this initiative celebrates growth, creativity, community, and the joy of discovering something brilliant before the rest of the world catches on. Some of the biggest musical moments start in rooms like ours - sweaty crowds, scribbled setlists, and that spark you can’t quite bottle (even though we do specialise in bottling great things).
🌱 Budding Artists – DJ Edition
A separate night celebrating DJs in all their shapes - vinyl purists, electronic explorers, house/garage/breakbeat heads, eclectic mash-up wizards, and downtempo dreamers. These nights lean into dancefloor energy, warm brewery vibes, and immersive soundscapes that turn our taproom into a welcoming, communal dancehall. While not monthly, these special DJ editions will drop throughout the year for those nights when we want to turn up the bass and get everyone moving.
Both editions share the same spirit: community, creativity, and the chance to discover the next wave of talent while enjoying great beer and a room full of good vibes.
