Author May Ellis drew on hours of research in the Shoemakers archives to write her bestselling Clarks Factory Girls series.
In this workshop May will share some of the extraordinary discoveries she made in the archives, and through a series of guided creative writing exercises, you will discover how to transform historic material into vivid, compelling storytelling.

No writing experience is necessary. If you have a love of the past and a story you would like to tell, this workshop is for you.

Tickets cost £30 and include the guided workshop, unlimited refreshments and cake and biscuits.
