The first tournament style that CueWorld ever ran, back in 2010! With champions like Craig Stevens, Benji Lavapie, Emilio Lui, Terry Lai, Jonathan Calleja &Justin Sajich who will be the next champion?

Format

Day 1 - Qualifying Pods

Players will be drawn into random pods of four.

Each pod will play a mini double-elimination bracket, guaranteeing every player at least two matches.

* 4 players per pod
* 7ft Diamond Tables
* 8-Ball
* WPA Rules
* Race to 3
* Double-elimination format
* Top 2 players from each pod qualify for Day 2
* Bottom 2 players are eliminated from the Main Event

Day 2 - Championship Finals

All qualified players return for a straight knockout championship bracket.

The opening round draw will be conducted after all qualifying pods have concluded. Players who progress through the qualifying side of their pod will be randomly drawn against players who progress through the elimination side of their pod (WVSL).

This is not a seeded draw. Once the opening round is complete, the tournament continues as a standard single-elimination bracket.

* Win and advance
* Lose and you're out

The last player standing will be crowned the CueWorld Classic Champion.
