"It's Okay! He's Friendly!" How to Handle an Off Leash Dog

When enjoying a walk with your dog, being approached by an off-leash dog can be scary for both the human and the dog. Whether you walk your dog in the woods, or run on the roads together you need to be prepared to protect yourself and your dog. In this workshop we’ll discuss the tools you can use to humanely protect yourself and your dog from an off leash dog approaching and what you can do with your own dog to help them feel more comfortable.
