In a society that is full of competing values, many people have spoken of God as loving and Jesus, of course, as representing that love. This is commonly expressed by both genuine believers and those who do not hold to an ongoing faith in Christ crucified. How do we reconcile contemporary values in the world today with those expressed in the Bible? Are they reconcilable and how do we communicate this? Is God a God of Love alone or are there any aspects of his character expressed in the Bible we choose to ignore? Is the gospel message of Jesus just about love? What is love and indeed, who is the Biblical Jesus?

Peter Timms has been involved in church leadership and teaching from the Word of God for more than 30 years. He has ministered in the UK, South Africa, USA, and Europe. Since the early days of becoming a believer, he has been led by a call from God to study and teach Bible prophecy relating to the second coming of Jesus.

He has a ministry teaching on social media, being a prolific writer of blogs. Peter was Interim Director of Red Hill and is now the Development Manager. He is on the Spiritual Council and chairs the board of trustees.
