Perfect for beginners and intermediates, this full day class introduces you to the magic of silver clay and how to add stones to your piece. You will be guided through the process by a fully qualified and experienced metal clay tutor where you will be taught professional level techniques in this fully comprehensive class.In this session you will make two rings, each set with a stunning stone! One ring will be made completely in silver clay as a band style ring with the precious stone set into the ring shank. The other with a sterling silver shank made using traditional fine jewellery techniques that a silver clay setting will be added to.You will learn how to:Roll to a consistent thicknessTexture and cut the clayRefine the dry piecesAdd stones to your pieceFire the piecesCombine traditional jewellery techniques with silver clayPolish and finish the jewelleryAll material costs are included in the class price.
