Et pourtant… Les standards de jazz tels que Moonglow, popularisé notamment par Billie Holiday ou encore Ain't she sweet interprété par Benny Carter, étaient bel et bien inscrits  à leur répertoire au début des années 60. Les notes bleues de Gershwin, Chet Atkins, Django Reinhardt ont certainement façonné  le son unique de ces « Quatre garçons dans le vent ».  
Et ce n'est pas un hasard si les premiers concerts des Beatles eurent lieu au « Cavern  Club », haut lieu du jazz situé 10 Mathew Street à Liverpool.  
Le Grégory Ott trio rendra hommage à ce groupe de légende, aux mélodies inscrites dans les sillages du jazz.
