🎅🏼 SANTA’S FOOD DASH — FESTIVE FOODBANK-RAISER! 🎄
Badwell Ash Run Club is excited to host our first ever foodbank-raiser, and we’re celebrating with a festive community run to support those who need it most this Christmas.
Join us on Sunday 21st December for a joyful run, jog or walk as we travel through the village spreading Christmas cheer and collecting donations for our local food bank, managed by Catriona Brinkley, our Priest.
🎁 Entry Fee
FREE — however we simply ask each participant to bring a non-perishable food donation.
Suggested items:
• Tinned meals • Soups • Pasta • Rice • Cereals
• Tea & coffee • Biscuits • Long-life milk
• Any non-perishable items that can help a family this Christmas
All donations will be delivered the same evening to individuals and families in need. Any surplus will be shared to surrounding areas.
🏃 Event Details
• Arrive: 11:00am
• Run starts: 11:30am
• Format: 15 mins out, 15 mins back — go at your own pace
• Run, jog or walk — we all start and finish together!
• Children and dogs welcome
• Spectators encouraged
🎄 Festive Dress
Wear a Santa hat, Christmas jumper or full festive outfit — the more Christmas spirit, the better!
☕ After the Run
Join us back at St Mary’s Church for refreshments: cakes, teas, coffees and cold drinks. All proceeds will be donated to St Mary’s Church.
🚗 Parking
Parking is limited, so please park sensibly.
If you live in Badwell Ash, please walk down if possible to keep roads clear.
Parking available along The Street & Village Hall Car Park.
