⭐️ What is yin?
Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. It also helps us to regulate the body’s flow of energy.
⭐️And What about Yoga Nidra?
Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the “going-to-sleep” stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed. Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health.
Combining these two great practices will leave you feeling relaxed but also leaves you with more energy for the month as we open up the energy channels.
Bring lots of blankets and pillow so we can get cosy and relaxed by rest and reset.
