# Event Details

- **Event Name**: The Country Music Jam RETURNS!!
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 27 Sep, 2026 at 02:00 pm
- **Event Description**: ? **The Country Music Jam Returns to The Legion!** ?

Join us on **Sunday, September 27th from 2–6pm** as **Mikey Fuss & His Country Western Friends** return to American Legion Post 59!
Come enjoy that good ol’ country & western music along with some ’50s and ’60s rock ’n’ roll featuring:

? Ed Cole — Lead Guitar & Vocals
? Tommy Lee Lopez — Drums
? Jerry Gilbertsen — Bass Guitar & Vocals
? Shareen Carter Cash — Vocals
? Mikey Fuss — Steel Guitar & Vocals

We’d also like to share a quick reminder for everyone who comes out to sing, play, or join in on the fun.

To help keep the jam organized and enjoyable for everyone, **all singers and musicians should check in with Shareen and sign up before performing.** Mikey will call performers to the stage when it’s their turn and determine the number of songs based on how many jammers are participating that day.
We also ask that everyone please wait to be called before coming onto the stage, including those wishing to sing harmony.
Shareen has the challenging job of keeping the signup sheet and lineup organized, and we greatly appreciate everything she does. Please be patient with her and avoid asking to change places on the list or repeatedly checking when your turn will be. If there’s a question or concern about the lineup, Mikey will be happy to handle it.
These Sunday jams have always been about **good music, good friends, and having a good time**, and we want to keep it that way! A little cooperation and consideration from everyone helps make the afternoon enjoyable for our musicians, jammers, volunteers, and guests.

We’d also like to recognize **Larry Johnson**, who got this jam started all those years ago. Thank you, Larry, for helping create a tradition that is still going strong today!

And we’ll leave the final word to Mikey:

**“If ya can’t have fun…stay home. I’m not home much!”** ??
