Hawkins-Mount House Tours

Step inside history as part of LIM’s 🇺🇸 America250 commemoration!

Join us for special guided tours of the historic Hawkins-Mount House, where celebrated American genre painter William Sidney Mount created some of his most memorable works from his attic studio inside this rambling 18th-century homestead in Stony Brook. Built around 1725, Mount’s ancestral family home stood witness to the American Revolution.

We will be offering several tours on March 21, July 11, and October 3, 2026.
