Come join us for our Second, Sock Out Cancer 5K!!! This event will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 the at Lumiere Park in Stonewall, Louisiana.
Let's get our craziest socks out for the run and sock out cancer together! This event is for all ages with a Kids Fun Run and a 5K that you can run or walk.
100% of proceeds from this race supports our local pediatric oncology family's ancillary needs such as sponsoring patient Birthdays, No Mo Chemo Parties, meals, snacks, toys for the clinic, gas cards, hotel expenses, etc. Please help us support our local pediatric oncology patients at St. Jude Affiliate Clinic in Shreveport. This clinic is a joint effort between St. Jude Research Hospital and Ochsner LSU Health-Fiest-Weiler Cancer Center.
SLEEP-IN SUPPORTER
Sig up then, come pick up a shirt during the two days of packet pick up at Run Wild then Sleep-in the day of the race! What a great way to support us, get a shirt to show it and then not run!
We will not hold shirts. Thank you for your understanding and most of all then you for supporting your local St. Jude affiliate!
Race Route
Race will start just inside the gates of Lumiere Christmas park then turn right into the parking lot, then turn left, then another left following the perimeter of the parking lot back to the beginning, then turning right into the park, then turning right to follow the trail through the woods. Once back at the beginning, turn right to go out the gate, then turn right along the parking lot, then turn left to run down the entrance to the park, then turn left onto the side road following it all the way down to Pine Street, turning left on to Pine Street. You will run down to a turnaround spot then comeback the same way you came. DO Not run fully around the parking lot again. You will run down the entrance all the way through the parking lot and then turn right to come back into (left) the gates then turn right to run the trails again come back to the beginning to finish. Watch for volunteers and signs.
