OVERCOMING 3RD EDITION presents a stirring evening of insight and inspiration through poetry, spoken word and music. To overcome is to rise from struggle, to move on from conflict, and to succeed in dealing with stresses and strife.

With stories spanning the personal to the global, OVERCOMING connects and heals heart-to-heart. This evening is intimate and exuberant, humble and passionate, and rises tenderly resilient, rebellious, and joyful.

Nourish your curiosity and need for belonging – in the company of musicians with traditional flutes, bamboo sax, double bass, bass guitar, gongs, Ngoni and percussion; and with poets, writers, and tellers of truth.
