What will you do?
Remove and manage invasive plants with gloves, trowels, loppers, W**d wrenches, and more. Suitable for ages 12 and up.
This event will be held at the Botume House Visitor Center at 4 Woodland Road, Stoneham. Additional parking can be found at the Spot Pond boating lot.
Please bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, your own reusable water bottle, and a snack, if you would like one. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes, warm gloves, long sleeves, long socks, layers, and pants to help prevent poison ivy or tick exposure.
Please note, there are no restrooms at this site.
Light work gloves will also be provided. Please feel free to bring personal gloves and/or hand gardening tools if you would like.
This program is a part of the initiative to give back to the park and protect the Fells for our human and wildlife users.
