- **Event Description**: Join the Interpretive Ranger on a relaxing paddle of Alexander Lake. This program is designed for absolute beginners as we learn proper safety and basic kayaking strokes.

The paddle will be taking place at Alexander Lakes (4965 Flat Bridge Rd. Stockbridge, GA 30281). Meet on the dam between the lakes. All equipment will be provided -- Life jacket, kayak, and paddle. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and clothes you don't mind getting a little wet.

All participants must know how to swim and be at least 12 years old. Youth ages 12-16 must be accompanied on the water by a ticketed adult. 

$20/ person + $5 parking/ vehicle. Call the Nature Center at 770-389-7801 to register as space is very limited.

In the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms, this event will be cancelled.
