Join Black Hikers Unite, We Outside GA, Adults P.L.A.Y. 360, MVP Hiking Club, and many other outdoor groups and individuals as we come together to celebrate Juneteenth weekend on the mountain!

? Stone Mountain Walk-Up Trail
? Meet Up: 9:00 AM
? Hike Begins: 10:00 AM

The Walk-Up Trail is approximately 1.1 miles to the top and 1.1 miles back down. While the mileage isn’t long, don’t let that fool you. Stone Mountain is a strenuous hike with a steep incline and can be challenging, especially in the summer heat.

? Please bring:
• Plenty of water
• Electrolytes
• Snacks
• Comfortable hiking or athletic shoes with good traction
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Sunscreen
• Hat and sunglasses
• A fully charged phone
• Any personal items you may need during the hike

If you are new to hiking, not used to elevation, or unsure of your fitness level, we highly recommend bringing a buddy and taking your time. There is absolutely no shame in going at your own pace. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience.

⚠️ Safety First:
• Stay hydrated before and during the hike
• Wear proper footwear
• Listen to your body and rest when needed
• Stay with the group or a hiking buddy
• Help us leave the mountain better than we found it by packing out all trash

This is always an incredible event that brings together hikers from all over. Expect great energy, great people, and a chance to celebrate community while enjoying one of Georgia’s most iconic outdoor destinations.
