His scenes of miners at work, pottery decorators in quiet concentration, bustling streets, intimate domestic interiors, and moments of natural beauty together form a vivid portrait of a community and an era.

In this special talk, his great-grandson, Kenn Griffiths and related cousin, Mike Ansell explore his paintings through family stories and historical context, offering alternative perspectives of the artist, the man, and the world that shaped him. An afternoon of art, heritage, and powerful local history — not to be missed. Talk 2 – 3.30pm, tickets £12 and includes a Cream Tea.
