CW Brown: Pitman, Painter and Primitive

Local historian Mervyn Edwards will present a Mervyn's Mondays history talk on Monday, July 14th at the Victoria Lounge Bar, Adventure Place, Hanley.

The title is CW Brown: Pitman, Painter and Primitive.
It will start at 11.00 am promptly

Mervyn will present a talk on the Biddulph Moor-born artist who depicted many scenes of working life in North Staffordshire, from collieries and steelworks to Etruria Pottery and crofters on Biddulph Moor - artwork that inspired the efforts of the legendary Arthur Berry.

Admission is £4, pay on the door.
