This will be the 29th Year of this Event.  

The event was started by Iron Butt Riders as a Ride to Eat and an annual ride.  Riders from across the US and surrounding area ride in and meet for lunch on December 30 each year.   The ride is rain or shine and does not always align to a weekend.   So it could have 200 riders or 700 riders show up based on conditions for the day. 

Recognition Awards: 
- Youngest Rider to Ride to Event - 14 years old can get MC in AL 
- Oldest Rider to Ride to the Event - the last years have been 80 + 
- Oldest Motorcycle Ridden to the Event - MC collectors usually bring some classics. 
- Longest Distance Ridden to the Event - I have seen 5400 miles to 1900 miles win this category. Ride must be documented as an IBA Ride to prove your mileage. 

FYI.. I (Ron) will be riding down on Monday 29th and staying overnight and returning on the 30th.  If you are interested in Riding along let me know.
