Pacific Percussion Day

University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music invites percussion students of all levels to the annual Pacific Percussion Day.

Join us for an exciting day of music making, conversations with percussion artists as well as educational sessions with Pacific faculty. This year, we are excited to welcome three special guest artist: Brian Rice, Jack van Geem and Haruka Fujii.

SCHEDULE

10 am Welcome/warm-up session (bring a drum pad)
11 am Clinic with Professor Latta
12 pm Lunch break (on your own)
1 pm Clinic with Brian Rice (Hands-on Brazilian Pandeiro )
2 pm Break
2:15 pm Clinic with Jack van Geem (Keyboard Percussion Techniques)
3:15 pm Break
3:30 pm Clinic with Haruka Fujii (Approaches to Contemporary Percussion)
