No experience needed and each participant receives a four-page color butterfly field guide to keep. We start at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park in Stockton at 8:30am and continue through the sometimes warm day until 3 or 4pm. We always see and learn to identify several species of these beautiful insects. We spend most of the warm afternoon in shady forests of Woodbridge Road and Lodi Lake. Plan to bring water, lunch, sunscreen and a hat. Call leader Kathy Schick (209) 612-5130 to reserve your spot (and your field guide).
