Join homelessness charity Emmaus South Manchester for a night of fundraising and solidarity.
Take part in The Big Friday Night Sleepover for Emmaus and help us raise vital funds to support people who experience homelessness.
We’re asking you to join us and make a valued contribution to tackling homelessness in the South Manchester / North Cheshire area. By signing up to join us for this evening of talks, activities and a shared ‘sleepover’, you’ll be helping homelessness charity Emmaus South Manchester.
You’ll have seen the impact of homelessness first-hand, and perhaps you want to be part of the solution. If you’re inspired to take action, you can join 100 others in giving up your bed for one night to raise the funds and awareness needed to create long-term change.
This sleepover doesn’t try to replicate homelessness or rough sleeping. Instead, it’s an act of solidarity – a way to raise awareness and much-needed funds for a cause we care about deeply.
🗓️ When: Friday 6 March 2026
📍 Where: St George’s Church Hall, Poynton
🕖 Arrival: Between 6:30pm – 7:30pm
🛏️ Sleepover: From 10:30pm to 8am the next day
Emmaus South Manchester is currently working to open a new Emmaus community – a place that offers a home, purpose and tailored support for people who experience homelessness.
Sign up today and we’ll send everything you need to launch your fundraiser – including links to a JustGiving page, tips, and resources to help you hit your goal.
Every penny you raise will go directly towards opening our new Emmaus South Manchester community, helping people rebuild their lives after homelessness.
