# Event Details - **Event Name**: Neighbourhood Profiles Data workshop with SMBC (In Person) - **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 03 Mar, 2026 at 12:00 pm – Tue, 03 Mar, 2026 at 01:00 pm - **Event Description**: This session will give an overview of some of the key data sources which can help us understand our neighbourhoods.About this EventStockport Neighbourhood DataData and intelligence are really important for understanding our local population, what’s going on in communities and helping us make a difference – however keeping track of what’s available and how to access it can be tricky!Stockport Council will be joining Sector 3 to give an overview of some of the key data sources which can help us understand our neighbourhoods and then give you a chance to have a go at using them with analysts on hand to answer questions.The session will focus mainly on the which have been developed as part of Stockport Live Well and aim to provide insight into a range of themes including assets, demographics, deprivation and health between and within our seven neighbourhoods.We’ll also briefly introduce the tool which helps you build custom profiles for bespoke areas and get key national statistics for communitiesThe session will include time for you to use the tools, so that you can try and access data that’s relevant to you and get advice from Stockport Council analysts.This workshop will be a mixture of presentation, interactive activities, and group discussion. It is aimed at those working, volunteering, or starting out in the VCFSE (voluntary, community and faith-based groups, and social enterprise organisations) sector in Stockport.Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided.Ticket ChargesWe will be charging a refundable fee of £5 (+eventbrite fees) per ticket. This will be refunded to you once you sign in at the event. Please note, the total amount you will be refunded is £5 per ticket (we are unable to refund eventbrite fees).** Please note, tickets are available strictly to volunteers and employees working for Voluntary, Community, Faith based groups, Social Enterprises and charitable organisations in Stockport.
